    Great car buying experience

    Great place to visit if your looking for a new car. My partner purchased one a few years ago from Duncan. I purchased my Hyundai i10 last week from Brian Hill cars. Mark helped me decide, he was very helpful and not at all pushy. When I picked my car up last week Mark had done everything he said he would do and it was spotless. I've been driving around for a week now and I love it. I would highly recommend BOC car centre if your looking for a new car.

    Very Bad after sales service

    Bought a Kia rio, I don't want the car, it's not (Fit for purpose) The goods should be fitted with new parts / new washer pump which hasn't, any specific purpose made known to before you agreed to buy the goods sold should've been presented. I have all the evidence to show. 1 I explained I was working, and I couldn't pick the car up till friday, how dear you turn around and say its my fault and I just turned up. You knew I was coming, becasue i told you on the phone I wanted my car back. 2 I have been sold faulty car, fully aware of all these problems thinking I wouldn't pick up on these safey issues. I am so up set with this matter and I have tried to relove the matter, detailing everything and I would like a full refund, Chris wasn't interested and he was disgusting. the way he spoke to me was awful. All I wanted was advise.. Basically once I drove the car away it was no longer his responsibility which is shocking! Terrible customer service.. I WILL NEVER these again

    Just bought our daughter her first car from James at JJH Motors.Both James and his colleagues were great, relaxed atmosphere to look around - no pressure. Open and transparent and a really efficient service. I would definitely recommend. Our daughter is thrilled with her new car .Thank you!

    Exceptional service.

    Found a car on AutoTrader that I really wanted , but it was in boc in Bolton 200 miles away , but I went for it anyway . After 7 hours on trains and hanging around stations arrived just after 5pm . Decided to stay overnight and drive home in the morning . Chris drove me to my hotel and plcked me up the following morning. We did the deal and I set off for home. About 3 hours into my journey I got a warning message on the dashboard . When I got home I phoned Chris and told him about it . He was in constant contact with me for the next few days asking about the car . Felt like he really cared . Turned out to be just a loose wire and the car is perfect. He offered to pay for the repair without being asked . These guys really are the best I've ever dealt with in 45 years of buying cars . Thank you Chris and Duncan

    AVOID. Booked a test drive of a car I really wanted and turned up with my part exchange. The salesman was only interested in my part exchange car. He took the car keys from me and wouldn't let me go with him. He switched the car on without my permission and went through my personal belongings as he knew when the MOT was due and about the service history. I had left this in a folder in the car. He then had the cheek to only offer me £1000 for my 11 plate car. Didn't even get to test drive the car and I had £6,000 in cash to pay for it that day. Not happy at all.

    At BOC Car Centre we welcome all feedback positive and negative and feel both sides of the story should be put across. You were booked in to test drive one of our vehicles. The salesman asked for your key to appraise your part exchange and welcomed you to stay indoors as it was a cold day. Upon approaching your car the salesman checked your cars MOT history via the website and discovered it ran out the next day. The salesman then proceed to appraise your potential part exchange and when he turned on your vehicle it made a very loud timing chain whine which is common with lack of servicing on your model of car. This would need to be replaced at our cost should we have taken in PX. The service booklet for your car was in the passenger footwell which was checked and found to be completely empty. So in effect your almost 8 year old car has no service history. All of the above obviously have a negative impact on the value of your car of which you were extremely unhappy about.

    Friendly and efficient.

    We have bought a number of cars from BOC in the past, but have to say dealing with Duncan and Chris at Duncan Watson Motors has to be the best so far. Very helpful and pleasant and attention to detail, even replaced the number plates because the old ones were a bit tatty. Can definitely recommend.

    Please avoid James Hancock Car Sales at BOC Bolton

    We went to see a Black Jaguar XJ Diesel reg GF55 HGA seen on Auto trader at BOC Car centre in Bolton being sold by James Hancock. The car is advertised an ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE CAR. After close examination we found that this was not true. In fact it has aluminium corrosion in quite a few places, front near side wheel arch, rear offside wheel arch, bottom corners of two doors to name a few. There is also very bad scratches to the nearside front wing and the side repeater is broken. The interior roof lining is sagging badly . When we pointed this out to the obnoxious salesman, he became very abusive and rude, and started to slag off our car saying you can't call my cars, when yours is just as bad. Does he not realise people go to car sales to upgrade and buy a newer better car. We don't know why he choose to call our car as we were not using it as a trade in. We were going to pay cash for the Jaguar if it was as stated absolutely immaculate car but no way now

    I didn’t expect this message at all but there are always two sides, I guess both cars aren’t perfect mine and the customers but for the year they are immaculate .. we have unbelievable amount of exceptional views from happy customers so one out of many isn’t going to hamper what this showroom offers .. we both pointed out a few faults on each other cars that over 12 years old but like I said both are beautiful examples, we have over 40 plus years of selling cars to the general public and hundreds of repeat customers. In response to this customer you can always come back to the showroom and I personally will apologise & once again you are welcome anytime to come back in Thank you

    Avoid dealing with James, worst seller I've met.

    Went to see a Lexus, and spoke with James. Very Rude, not friendly and not proffesional as if he didn't want to sell his car. You need to take a business course and how to deal with customers. Bad experience.

    This gentleman did not purchase a car from BOC Car Centre. He offered an insultingly low amount for a vehicle and wanted over retail for his below standard part exchange which was quickly rejected. We feel as that the fact he did not have his offer accepted he then decided to leave us such an unfair review. Please read our other positive reviews to form an opinion of the hard work our dealership does.

    Excellent service

    I bought a car from Moss Motors. A honest, good old fashioned car dealer with good quality well priced cars. I had a couple of issues soon after taking delivery but they were sorted out quickly and efficiently with no fuss. Very happy with the car and the service. Highly recommended!
